Should man have been convicted as a sex offender after having sex with 13 year old?

Alisha Dean (13) had a My Space Page (Google it) in which she portrayed herself as a 19-year-old divorced woman. She was looking for adult males to have sex with. How many times she was successful is unknown, but in one such case, a man was jailed as a sex offender.

In a second case, when Morris Williams learned she was 13, he went to the girl's father and informed him of what she was doing. Rather than punish the girl, he reported the man. Now he is a convicted sex offender, while the girl is still seeking men to have sex with.

Before I give my full answer I would like to know, did this man actually have sex with her and then find out her age or did he find out her age and leave immediately without having sex or did he find out her age, still engage in sex and then leave?

hmmm....no answer from you? Ok well thanks anyway but I'm not going to condemn or exonerate someone without a little more to go one.

edit2: Ok so I just got your message. The fact that she liked to surprise these guys is sick on her part. With all that being said. Any man(or woman) who has sex with a minor should suffer the punishment. She doesn't look 19 but she does look mature for her age so I can understand the confusion......a little bit. I think this man in particular should have gotten a smaller sentence for actually coming forward and addressing what she is doing BUT he still had sex with a minor and he should still suffer from his actions.

I also think this girl should be punished. She needs some professional help as well. Any girl who does that has some deep problem that needs to be solved be for she further damages her life, the life of her family and the life of others.
