if you had sex the night before you take a pregnacy test will it effect the results?

It came out positive.
Thank you to all that answered. It has been over a month since my last period. We had sex last night and i took a test and we thought maybe the sperm would effect the results. Now i know the truth, Thanks Everyone.

No, it won't change the result - totally different hormones involved.
